Quote Validity: All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Pricing may change based on project scope adjustments or technology requirements.
Quote Process: We aim to provide detailed project quotes within 1-3 business days of receiving your request. Quotes are project-specific and based on technical requirements, timeline, and deliverables.
Pricing: All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise specified. Prices include the scope of work outlined in the proposal. Additional features or changes may incur extra costs.
Project Confirmation: All projects require a signed agreement or statement of work. We reserve the right to accept or decline any project at our discretion.
Payment Terms: Standard payment structure is 50% deposit to begin work and 50% upon completion. Larger projects may have milestone-based payments as specified in the agreement.
Payment Methods: We accept payment via bank transfer, credit card, or other methods as agreed upon. Late payments may incur interest charges and suspension of services.
Project Timelines: Estimated delivery dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Actual timelines depend on project complexity, client responsiveness, and scope changes.
Deliverables: Software and website deliveries are made electronically through secure file transfer, code repositories, or deployment to hosting servers as agreed upon.
Client Review: Clients must review deliverables and provide feedback within agreed timeframes. Delays in client feedback may extend project timelines.
Service Warranty: We warrant that services will be performed professionally and that deliverables will substantially conform to specifications in the agreed scope of work.
Bug Fixes: Critical bugs discovered within 30 days of project delivery will be fixed at no additional cost. Extended support and maintenance require a separate agreement.
Exclusions: We are not responsible for issues caused by third-party services, hosting problems, client modifications to code, or changes to external APIs beyond our control.
mcdigital's liability is limited to the correction of defects in deliverables or, at our option, refund of fees paid. We are not liable for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages including but not limited to loss of profits, data loss, business interruption, or reputational damage.
Our total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid for the specific project or service involved in any claim.
Client Ownership: Upon full payment, clients own the custom code and content created specifically for their project, excluding any pre-existing libraries, frameworks, or tools.
Third-Party Components: Projects may include open-source libraries and frameworks subject to their respective licenses. Clients must comply with these license terms.
Portfolio Rights: We reserve the right to display completed projects in our portfolio and marketing materials unless a confidentiality agreement specifies otherwise.
Content and Materials: Clients are responsible for providing accurate content, images, and materials needed for the project. Content must not infringe on any third-party rights.
Timely Feedback: Clients must provide timely feedback and approvals as outlined in the project timeline. Delayed responses may extend delivery dates.
Hosting and Domains: Unless otherwise agreed, clients are responsible for obtaining and maintaining their own web hosting and domain registration.
We respect your privacy and handle personal and project information in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Information collected is used solely for business purposes including project development, communication, and service delivery. Sensitive client information is kept confidential.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with the revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
